I have a forum account previously but that got deleted so i have made a new one, i hope this won't affect my chances of becoming a helper

I don't know how many messages your old account had you'll still need to meet the requirements on this account if you want to get a chance of becoming a helper. The progress you made on your other account is lost so you'll have to start over again which doesn't really decrease your chance but will increase the time it'd take.
