Please state me all positives of the rank. Sure, the people who will get the rank are good at what they do, which is working for the TT. Thats no reason to make them role models for the *actual server*. This rank is basically helper, and afaik they dont get trained to be a Translator. The TT and the actual server are two different things. Also, 'hero' is a bit too much

I've seen an example of the Translator with a white name tag. Looked fine. ''But the forums!'' make it black, or have it white but with a small black outline. You could've changed some colors, but for the love of God, don't make it dark red? That's the worst possible thing you could've done.

As said before, dark red is a bold color people will notice quickly. Which is why it's given to higher ranks, such as Admin, Owner. You can change the translator color to Cyan. ''But Designers!'' Sr Mod. and Mod are both the same orange. Yeah, the ranks look semi alike. You can make it cyan and have a [T] next to their name to show, hey, they're a translator!

But, again, for the LOVE OF GOD, change it from dark red. It's just terrible in every. single. possible. way.

Last, you can also change the Youtuber rank. Make their rank a mix between light red and white. Then make the translator rank light red. Just not dark red. It's not above developers, moderators, management, yet you give it a color like it is. If someone who isn't on the forums looks at tab, sees a translator, they're gonna think ''Hey! an Admin!'' but in reality they're a TRANSLATOR.

[T] next to a rank first isn't possible (as a dev said) and second isn't even a solution. The color issue is for tab, not for the chat.

Black and white are options we wouldn't like to use. As I explained, broken colors, not visible on certain platforms.

We would need to use different colors on different platforms, which not only isn't less confusing to players, but will also look much uglier.

I'm afraid only appropriate solution is leaving people get used to the fact red now belongs to Translator. Not my favorite color neither, but it's how things turned out.

Guess what they all have incommon? They're better colors then dark red. Yes, I'll be the first to admit that Light Grey doesn't stand out that much, but it's still better then dark red.

You can also make Cyan bold for Designers, Light Red bold for Translators. Which is also how you can use Pink or something. Purple.
White can be a similar color as Discord on the forums or it can be white with a black outline.

Cyan - Designer
Light Grey - Iron
Light red - youtuber

All these colors are taken, white looks broken

I am not sure if there is an option to make it bold, pretty sure not, but even if there is, having two ranks with the same color is a lot more confusing and there is no way for people to get used to it. They will always be confused

I forgot about Iron. I know Cyan and Light Red are taken. I showed it in the example. I also showed a possible change to the Youtuber rank. Sr. Mod and Moderator are both Orange. If you make it bold, yes it'd be the same color but it would make it different from, stand out. Make it italic at the same time for all I care but dark red is so terrible..

I don't think bold or italic are options, and again.. My issue is there would be the same colors for very different ranks. SrMod not too different from Mod. Also giving youtuber dark red won't make much difference, will cause even more confusion because there are a lot more youtubers than there have ever been red Admins that people have seen.

If someone were to abuse the dark red color, it is also more likely to be a youtuber who has been chosen mainly based on numbers, isn't staff, and just decides to troll for a cool YouTube video or something. Idk what makes youtuber more worthy of dark red.

Where?? Did I say?? They should get dark red?? Did you even LOOK at my screenshots? Clearly you didn't because you'd see what I actually suggested. Make YouTubers half light red and half white. Give full red to translators.

This is the problem with CubeCraft, they refuse to accept they've made a mistake. Banning Marieke? Nope. Not banning Fliqa? Nope. Having the worst color for a rank that's nowhere near as high as Managment, Developers etc.? Nope. Accept your mistakes and fix them. Change the Translator rank. There are so many options, that are so much better then dark red. CubeCraft just refuses to accept they've made a mistake.

No need to get all fired up over a normal discussion, Sweet. Currently, a member of the Admin team is communicating with you about the issue. I don't understand how that means we are not willing to find fixes to a possible 'mistake'.

I'm just putting you in our shoes - your suggestions for solutions until now are not really solutions. If we made red half white half red, this would only be seen in chat. The issue we have is on tab, where Translator would either have the same color as youtuber or the broken white color we don't want. Bold and italic are no solutions to confusion neither and look very ugly.
