    Bedrock Remove the device matchmaking system entirely

    The challenge queue means that you want to be paired with users on controllers or keyboards in order to make the game harder for you, even when there's enough players to not have to put those players together. We only otherwise mix devices when there are not enough players for games to start.

    can't say much more on this right now other than that we are still looking into other regions and we haven't forgotten about them :bluesus:

    Java A different approach to punishments for inappropriate usernames/skins

    The amount of name bans and skin bans that happen on a daily basis are so, so, so small that it would make little to no sense for a developer to spend time implementing a system like this. If you're going to make the choice to have an inappropriate skin or name, then you just won't be able to...

    BEDROCK -> Cubecraft IP

    Your post was generally misleading by providing this information, and we generally don't recommend using direct IPs, so I'm going to lock this thread now. :)

    BEDROCK -> Cubecraft IP

    We don't have a GB region, all of these would go to our normal EU network. We don't recommend using direct IPs for connecting to CubeCraft as these can go down at any time, using play.cubecraft.net or using the featured server list is the best way to connect.

    Throughout Guide to networking problems connecting from East Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania [Part 1: Network routing]

    Nice generic overview of how the internet works, it is a bit more complicated than that but this gives a visual quite nicely. We've changed some routing options for Asia/Oceanic players today so you may find that you have slightly better latency :) We're also still definitely looking into Asia...

    Is modding the forums allowed?

    Yes, you can edit styling and such locally. The only thing we'd draw a line at is if you're running bots to excessively scrape data from our websites or maliciously attempt to abuse API endpoints.

    NA Region Maintenance

    Thanks for your patience today! We have resolved our network issues in all regions, and everything has mostly returned to normal. We will continue monitoring throughout the next 24 hours to make sure that we don't run into any further issues.

    NA Region Maintenance

    An update on this for those who are curious as to why our NA region is still unavailable: We were expecting this maintenance to complete within an hour of it starting, but as the maintenance began we started seeing failures across our network (including EU) when servers were trying to talk to...

    NA Region Maintenance

    Hello CubeCrafters, Our provider is performing maintenance on some of our NA region's infrastructure in the early hours of the 10th of May. As such, we will be redirecting NA traffic to our EU region from around 23:00 EST. We believe it should be back from midday. Apologies for the...

    Bedrock Add which region you are in with /whereami

    You can see what region you are in for your rack, proxy and game server from /whereami already (if you look at the server, the first letter will be either "n" or "g")! Since you could be on an NA proxy and EU server, a region part of the /whereami command wouldn't really make much sense.

    Java Removing the Homophobia

    CubeCraft is extremely proud to have a diverse & inclusive staff team & community, and we would never want to discriminate against anyone, intentionally or otherwise. Our choice of banning "gay" and "lesbian" on our chat filter was an extremely carefully made decision by us, but ultimately we...

    Planned Add Private Games

    This thread seems to have gone a bit off topic, but I'll respond to the original post: Private Games was rolled out to staff shortly after Among Slimes as we planned for a partner release shortly after, including some work on a Bedrock implementation. Priorities on the infrastructure team have...

    Bedrock FIX THE BEDROCK SERVERS!

    I'm not really involved in the development & product side of CubeCraft - I'm just here to respond to some of the mentions of the infrastructure team in this thread, since I do know that people don't really hear from us that often. I'm aware that around the time SG duos released, we were made...

    Why cubecraft bedrock is always pushed aside

    Please keep the conversation civil, regardless of other people's opinions. Whilst I appreciate that some people are upset, that is no reason to treat other members of the community and the staff team with disrespect. Thank you.
