Some amazing and well appreciated and very insightful replies from Cube.. (esp RedNed, Hazard, and Austin). 11TB of RAM deployed across 1000 servers. Honestly I don't think many people in this thread really realise quite what an undertaking it must have been to entirely replace the codebase...

One of the most well reasoned arguments I've seen made about how Cubecraft have always ignored and continue to ignore any competitive aspect of gaming on their servers. I've never really seen any support for it apart from a couple of half hearted and short lived attempts. That's always puzzled...

Happens on 100% of deaths in squads games for me.. have to relog each time.

I'd agree but only on the basis that weekly (or Monthly) leaderboards weren't a replacement for all time or seasonal leaderboards but *in addition* to them. Some of us have literally spent hundreds of real days over many years grinding for leader boards so it would be an absolute travesty to...

I almost always buy TNT though not often on first rush but soon after. On Solos maps with huge amounts of gold I often just fill up with a stack or two of TNT cos what else are you going to spend it on... yeah it's kinda a bit nasty to drop a ton of TNT on the last player alive, but I can't stop...
