I'm not Mr. Qualitythreadmaker or anything, but I think it'd be nice if you came with some proposals as to what kind of kits you would like to see and how you think that would make the gamemode more enjoyable etc.

I have nothing against this idea honestly. It could be basically a daily leaderboards which in my opinion could be somewhat interesting. However, weekly and monthly leaderboards would be more suitable if Cube ever considered adding several leaderboards per game (again).

I usually just prefer melee combat, but after trying this I noticed it was really effective. Pissed off a lot of toxic people who started chanting I should learn 'PvP' which made it all worth it.

The only ability I ever see coming in handy every once in a while is the freeze ability for your sword, since you can purposefully freeze troops on locations you have most of your towers placed in the game to save yourself from early rushes a little easier, though my personal preferance are AoE...

Is there a possibility your connection might be inconsistent? That could perhaps have something to do with it if you experience lag spikes often in your connection to the server.
