Earlier, when you had 'friends enabled', or nobody enabled, you could still see staff members due to an override. I think that feature has been removed now, not sure though.

There isn't really an option to see only YouTubers. You just have to enable 'All Players' and hope to see one in a lobby. Tip: they're most likely to be in crowded lobbies. Hover with your mouse over a lobby to see how many players are in it.

It's not very hard. The main problem is that CCGN has over 30K playing members, and over 50K on the forums. That means there are a lot of birthdays every day, so the 'birthday gift' won't be very special anymore.
