Depends on what the DM is like, usually they're bots but if someone sends you a random server invite with no message, it's either a misclick or a real person.
They’re bots.....there’s no easy way to identify and ban them as soon as they join the server....just turn off server DMs.

I think doing /report is easier (don't have to get evidence) and helps when you're not entirely sure whether someone is cheating or not, but at the same time the staff probably have hundreds of /reports to deal with daily and reporting someone without evidence/who wasn't actually cheating...
