If it's a solo profile, you can't if it's a co-op profile: Make sure your on the island, then go to the cog and use it, then go to profiles, then press the co-op file your on, then press leave the slot should open up and you should be kicked to your solo

Best you can do is use fortune to increase how much you get, there is no way to make it more likely tho

well that just shows how much I know about trees and stuff (hate those quests). If that's the case then it'll most likely be what it is like in vanilla, with just a very small increase of chance

My guess is that fortune only works on the saplings themselves (not drop rate) so that if you would get a sap using a fortune tool, you will have a chance to double that sapling instead of higher chance of getting a sapling
