The colored chat is a fun addition. Removing it would be unfair to all the players that have payed to use the colored chat. As @AFreakingCookie (Hank) already said, you can disable chat if it really hurts your eyes. The Official Rules have been updated. Please read our new rules here...

I have always thinked that this is a good idea. The only problem is, the news threads, the introduction threads and the Forum Games. I don’t really know, but I feel like it would be hard to develop a system that would not lock these kind of threads.
