I saw this thread a couple days ago, but I wasn't ready to post until now. After playing the update for a couple hours, here's what I'd say:
The kit was already reliant on its pots pre-nerf. Every time the wizard kit drinks a pot, it has to score a kill to regain that pot. What people forget is...
Ah it's you! Good to see you around. As a former player on the Java server, I agree on the shop part, and it comes to show that the update wasn't well thought out (the new FFA map feels more confined than other maps). I'll add to that as well after playing/testing ~15-20 minutes of this update...
It's playable now, but there's now a bug with the death counter not resetting on death. Instead, it's reset upon respawning in and scoring 1 kill (in which case that kill doesn't count and instead increments the death counter by 1).
Rod works very differently in 1.9+; it reels in targets instead of applying knockback when the bobber hits the target. But in 1.8, you can use snowballs and eggs in place of a rod.
FnS is unchanged. Oh and the same could also be said for most PvP players in FFA who get angry if something is out...
At a glance, it's nonsense. When I was a much younger student, I too took human nature for granted. At that time (7-8+ years ago), if I were to see a suggestion like this, I too would have said it was nonsense, but it was because I didn't understand. But then college came around and I noted the...
All right, now I'm free to make a detailed response. Blom, first of all, thanks for the detailed response; there's only a very few of us willing to go in-depth on any of the threads.
It seems that everyone is forgetting this point: on large servers, the probability of running into the same...
There are easily about 5-6 digits worth of unique players that log onto the Bedrock server every day. On large servers, the probability that you run into the same player a second time is almost nil. There is no reason to remember another player, especially if they're not famous and aren't on...
Two kits.

According to the forgetting curve, humans are meant to forget things over time. That is the way people are designed; this explains why people forget trivial things such as what they ate earlier in the day but don't forget memorable things such as getting their first job.
While everyone is able...
That's why it's difficult to spot this; it's as tough as spotting someone using only an ESP hack (and no other hacks). There are however some ways to tell if they memorized your name/IGN:
They also follow you everywhere you go.
They attack you, and only you, first thing when they join one of...
You can overwhelm your mind with other things so that it's forced to forget someone's IGN and skin. As long as you don't bring up that IGN or skin into your memory by any means, you'll naturally forget about those after some time. There's only so much that a person's mind can handle at once...
I'm not kidding. As title says, this should be explicitly prohibited for the following reasons:
It is an illegal modification/a form of cheating to use memory to remember another player's in-game name, especially a player that is not on the friend list. People are inherently designed to forget...
Thread is cleaned up even more. Short version is added for those who don't want to read the full version (previously thread contained only the full version). Please provide your input if you disagree; so far of the 6 people who disagree, only @Wulfiee has provided a response.
I'm all ears with input from both sides. As of writing this, 7 people have agreed with this thread and 4 people have disagreed (see edit 4). Please give your input after reading the thread; it's important that both sides present their side.
Support.
How do they see that link? Do they have a log that checks for posted links?
We cannot even contact moderators on Discord because some mods have their DMs disabled. I attempted to contact FIVE different mods (already over 10% of the moderation team), only to have Discord send an...
Hi are you available? I got false muted automatically for trying to post an appropriate link. I tried private messaging a mod on Discord and I cannot send private messages.
I'm not 100% sure if that's sarcasm or not. Either way, it's very difficult to tell if so from just words only.
However, cleaning is part of the game. There's ways that the player can avoid getting cleaned:
Situational awareness. Paying attention is key; attention buys time and time buys...
This is a response to this thread. As a veteran FFA player who has played FFA for 6 years with (except berserker) and against all kits, this will not work out in the long run as it doesn't solve the problem of running away or cleaning, two features of the game that many people complain about...
Ah the bandwagon fallacy. Just because another server did something does not mean another should follow suit.
To OP, that begs this question: how do you properly measure skill?
Stats aren't everything. you can have someone who farmed those stats so that they appear "very good" but they come...
I played FFA again. It looked like the bug was patched.
An astute and careful player can get a very high killstreak without dying. With this kind of player, consider the kit all but permanent (unless the player is caught off guard by multiple players).
