Just to add on to this, I still don't think the update is bad, some games shouldn't have been remived in my opinion, but I do not have any insight on how the playercount was. It's a good update but it's just a little too less at this point :(, It does look good though.

That's because their anti cheat is a machine learning system. It doesn't block your hacks, it inspects the way you fight and move and compares it with others. So ofcourse you can fly on the server but it will detect you did. Kinda stupid and useless argument you made right there. o_O

Switch the applications to the forums, buy an add-on for applications at xenforo. Problem solved. The most popular add-on adds a lot of useu things. (a limit of the amount of needed message is also an option) It works better, it's compact and you keep almost everything forum related, so why not?

How about expanding the current development team. The Jr. DEV project would suit perfectly well for this.

Disagreed with the part where you talk about the versions. They should just make the decision. Stay with 1.9 or go back to 1.8. Supporting both feels a little bit weird in my opinion, and is just confusing for new players.

Indeed, it's not that they're throwing away everything they ever created, they just improve the things they made years ago. It's just a job that has to be done once in a while. You can't just stay at old things, they are called 'old' for a reason.
