Welcome to forums! I personally started off on the java server in 2015 then I switched over to the Nintendo switch version in 2018 and now I'm on PC. I don't really play on the java version anymore because they are on 1.12 now and I don't enjoy 1.12 as much as 1.8 and 1.9 PvP
