Definitely a great idea. Absolutely no objections and this has been a problem for as long as the kit has been around. Only slight issue is you can't take advantage of the unknowing enemy's disadvantage

I usually get stacked then rush. However, in solo, I just flat out rush, since the enemies are just complete garbage, but on teams, most notably Teaparty, I usually go to mid and gear up, then just take down the teams.

Make sure you focus on GAMEPLAY. Not looks. Build a map that's actually practical for PvP, THEN add the looks. Pixel art/weirdly shaped islands are nothing without the gameplay element. Too many maps make this mistake. Don't repeat the cycle.
