That's the point. You need to be wise where you place your blocks, or your team will end up losing. That will encourage team work. Will do, once i get home. (Currently on vacation).

If it would be removed, it would make the game much more unfair. Let's say that your team-mates all crashed at the same time for some particular reason, or just left. It would be really unfair to the other team, as 8 players are pvp'ing one or two players. It's nearly impossible to win that way...

You do realize that there are at least 30000 playing on CubeCraft? Let's say 5000 of them want to play EggWars Solo, that means you'd need 5000 servers, or probably half the size and make 2 games per server. It's a no from me. -1
