Well, IMO adding a name for the villager will mess up the gameplay as new players will get confused on where is the shop (in case they do add a name for it), and will make EggWars an unpopular gamemode.

You don't have to worry, you arent in a risk of getting banned if you do not hack. They're just having the massive ammount of salt and threaten to ban you. Take it as a compliment that you're good at PvP.
