Correct. Witch dropper in the nether definitely works.

The rewards are definitely sub-par but an alternative option is creating a witch dropper to get the glowstone. It's expensive, but it works.

I've never figured out what causes it, but I've noticed that going either to the skyblock hub or the main hub and then back to the island alleviates the lag. Doesn't always work, but it usually goes away after a bit. The lag appears to be more server-side than client.

I only made mine in the nether for the glowstone quests because I hate mining it. Basically, you put the spawners up in the air with open fence gates beneath. Video with a breakdown is on my YT (linked in signature if you want to see).

No they wont. If they don't die to fall damage, it's not high enough. I also agree that it's not worth it to create a witch farm generally. I have one in the nether for the glowstone quests, but that's the only real viable use case in my opinion.

Weirdly enough, the act of the hopper picking up the items counts. You don't need to pick them up yourself.

Yes I know what it says. You don't actually need to collect glowstone from trees. Witch droppers in the nether will work. And I understand that you need the last island for it as well, hence why I said it's expensive. I don't disagree that they need to do something to make this quest less...

It's very expensive, and slightly annoying due to all the other drops, but you can build a witch dropper in the nether and AFK to rack up the glow stone.

This should work on any version of minecraft.

Eh, maybe 1:1, but you can buy 80 zombie spawners for the price of one pigman spawner. If you're super late game and have tons of coins to blow sure, but if you're not there, zombies are easiest.

Profile slots are taken by islands you join as well. If you're friend is part of another co-op he/she either needs to leave or buy the rank to unlock the additional slots.

Not sure on the exact numbers behind it, but the best bang for your buck is getting a number of zombie spawners to lvl 30 and then dropping them about 75 blocks for 1-hit kills.

It should be working fine based on your design. That farm doesn't look nearly big enough to hit the item limits.

I'm not on that quest myself, but does it specify whether or not you have to do it in the nether?

He doesn’t have pigs yet... At your stage in the game, coco beans are probably the fastest way to get money along with building a dropper for zombies and cows. Even though you don’t have hoppers yet, you can stand where they die from falling and collect drops.

Definitely just a visual bug that re-logging will fix. I remember the first time it happened to me, I thought I'd unlocked some amazing new island and then it was gone the next time I logged back in 😂

It's a visual bug - place an item in it and then log out/back in. It should be there if you log back in.

Are you using the spawners from the swamp island? Those are very high level and would require a longer drop than 64 blocks. If the mobs aren’t dying, it’s not high enough.
