I really like the ELO idea as it's very rare that I'll come up against someone who is skilled equally to me. It would make PvPs more interesting as each fight would be more tense and would avoid a player being absolutely rinsed, or absolutely rinsing someone else. I don't see it as copying...

or perhaps setting up a team eggwars tournament if people register enough interest!!

yeah the borders are stupid. if the game is played by players of equal ability, the players who spawned near the middle will always win because they don't need to spend as much time running from the border, especially in speed.

Would a larger staff base not help this quality assurance stage go quicker?

I feel like they just need to really innovate. Their flagship game mode Eggwars has barely changed since it updated to 1.9, so perhaps another update would increase traffic? CC just needs a bit of TLC, perhaps if they put out updates faster for things such as a party system then more people...

A good axe PvPer will always beat a good sword PvPer, because when you both hit each other and both get knocked back the axe is charged up and ready.

I don't agree they need better staff but the ban system is bad. I've been false banned by the anti cheat, and so has my mate. We've both been unbanned because we told them we weren't hacking, so my problem is what stops actual hackers just saying they didn't hack to get an easy urban? The...
