It does the same thing on my desktop, too. It's not the computer, it's the mouse.

    Gaming mouse...

I got that to use with my Windows tablet. It works... Sort of. Since it's Bluetooth, it operates with a low polling rate. I tested it, and it looks like it's operating at 125Hz. That's not even really enough for non-gaming use. The cursor stutters across the screen as if it had a poor...

My bad, I didn't pick up on the sarcasm. I've dealt with my fair share of selfish people on here and I assumed you were another one of them.

    Lee's PC Services

Stemming from the work I do on Planet Minecraft, I've decided to "open up shop," if you will, here on CubeCraft's forum. I offer semi-professional PC services ranging from spec'ing out custom PC builds, to finding good upgrades for existing systems, to trying to make the best of a budget in the...

Need ideas for a computer dedicated to Minecraft

If you want a simple pick-up-and-go system, the Alienware Alpha and Dell Insprion 7559 are good choices. They don't break the bank and have very good hardware for Minecraft (750 Ti performance and up). This iBuyPower machine is also pretty decent for the price...

    Gaming Computer [UPGRADE]

No, the Amplifier doesn't work with non-Alienware computers. It uses a proprietary connector that only recent Alienware systems have. Perhaps you're thinking of the Razer Core that runs off of Thunderbolt 3? That's only really useful for USFF desktops and laptops - pointless for a custom-built...

Alienware doesn't sell graphics cards. And if they did, they'd probably charge more than what you would see at any store.

The Dell has the same exact specs, but is about $100 cheaper. Dell is known for making really good monitors.

    Gaming Computer [UPGRADE]

If you wish to waste your money on a mediocre performance boost, I will not help you. The only worthwhile upgrade for the system I suggested is the addition of another 1080, but even then it's just to help max out games at 4K that support SLI.

    Increasing mouse sensitivity beyond hyperspeed

I'd imagine that if you turned up the sensitivity any more, a breeze would move your mouse enough to shoot your cursor across the screen! What would you need that level of sensitivity for?

    What CPU?

I don't mind you getting a similar or the same setup as me, but I can guarantee you won't find all the deals I did. The GTX 1080 is plenty for 4K if you turn off AA and, depending on the game, turn the settings a notch down from ultra. I easily get over 60 FPS most of the time, even in...

    Run minecraft smoothly

You won't get very great performance with such an old laptop, but to get the best performance possible out of it I suggest you allocate no more than 2GB of RAM to Minecraft and turn all the game settings to minimum. The integrated HD 3000 GPU isn't designed for gaming.
