    The i3-4130 launched sometime in 2013; it's hardly old. Each new generation of Intel CPUs since 2010 has contained Core i3's, Core i5's, and Core i7's (as well as Celerons, Pentiums, and Xeons).

    I always use the 64-bit Java JDK (because I do a little developing in addition to running Java things), and I always use OptiFine for the zoom feature.
