What specifically are you trying to do? Are you just trying to stop the mobs temporarily or are they spawning where you don't want them to. Maybe you are trying to make a mob grinder and they are "escaping"?

GGKort has all of the right suggestions. Also, there is another report of similar issues with the zombie killing quest. Try what GGKort said and then report it as a bug if that doesn't work. There have been a few bug reports since the update.

Lots of discussion on this with various points being made but I still say no. Just go fight in any of the many PvP servers. Honestly, it just sounds like you are good at PvP and looking for a shortcut to progressing in SkyBlock while someone else just loses their hard earned coins.

Spend your money to buy mob generators. Use the mob generators to build dropper systems. Basically, you drop cows, etc from a high elevation. When they fall you get free items like beef and leather. Sell the free stuff and repeat. If you do this you will always have plenty of money.
