It depends on how expensive it ends up being, I guess. For 10 gold, you should lose it. For 10 diamonds, you should keep it.

I guess it depends, if they both are low health and need to stay out of fights, that's just being smart. If they're full health and looking for a fight, but ignoring each other, I would call that teaming.

No, you can do that with regular chests. For ender chests it's so you can have a private chest that random people from your team can't take stuff from. And potentially being able to use ender chests on other people's islands.

I guess, I kind of feel that you shouldn't need to go to mid to be able to get it though. Hence why I believe a high amount of gold would be good.

5-10 diamonds seems a bit too expensive, you don't want it too difficult but you also don't want it too cheap. I reckon keeping it at a high amount of gold is probably good enough.

I think 5 gold is a bit too cheap, maybe more like 10-15? 5 seems so cheap that it's almost free, you can get it almost immediately.

Avoiding each other isn't teaming to a point in my opinion. If you're on two different islands and don't bridge over, that's fine. But if you 2v1 someone because 2 of you are avoiding each other, that's pretty unfair.

Maybe not an entirely new gamemode, adding some two team maps seems like a pretty good compromise though, ty for the suggestion! I think everyone should have access to it, ranks should just get the voting like they do in most gamemodes.

I like the idea of unlocking them, maybe you could also have it so it unlocks one row at a time? So it gets progressively harder to unlock. I feel that could nerf it if people think it's too good.

I wondered whether a brief tutorial would work at the beginning of the game, I think it could be quite useful for new players. I remember when I first started playing TD, I had no idea what I was doing. And I don't think it would be difficult to implement.

I was thinking this as well, otherwise people could abuse this really easily. And yeah I guess it is a sort of duels mode. I also really like the idea that elaad had, it could be very fun for tournaments. I don't have the all networks prefix unfortunately.

I don't think it should be removed, if you're defending your base that well with a bow, I think it's kind of up to the attacker to figure out a good strategy.

Yeah, this would be great to see, adding 1v1 and 2v2 would change things up so much. 1v1 especially would change it so much, although either things would need to be cheaper, otherwise the game would go on for ages.

As others have said, eggwars is basically bedwars with an egg. I also feel that rather than adding new gamemodes, focusing on the current gamemodes is much more beneficial. Having lots of underdeveloped gamemodes is worse than having like 4 very well developed modes.

Yeah I would love if they added an enderchest, it would make it really interesting. And players taking your stuff from the shared chest that you need is really annoying.

If you took out all the programming issues, I think it's a good idea, however there are sometimes when you want to place a turret in one of those spots. Including all the coding issues it's probably difficult to get it quite right. And from what 11ls said, it seems like you would need to recode...
