I think it would be a good idea if threads older than 2 weeks Auto-Lock themselves. But no being able to lock it as a thread creator because: Requesting a staff member to lock it isn't so bad, so no need.

I think they shouldn't add this, because you can join, and help your friend by telling him/her where everyone is, who has obsidian, who is coming. It would be unfair.
