If it sounds like I am complaining, I really tried to hide that. It is pretty annoying, especially for the people who have to wait for 5 minutes because their PC is so laggy. But none the less, you're right.

GUYS! No one needs a mod to play this game! I had just stated that a MOD WAS USED TO DEVELOP THE IDEA!!! A player is not going to need the mod to see it. It's just an example I am going to give a texture pack maker, for god's sake!

By mods, he means cosmetic mods such as Lucky Blocks, not that kind.

No, no, no. Minecraft has a built-in feature which allows you to tie in a texture pack in that server. Similar to Lucky Blocks, the game will give you the option to install the texture pack required for that server, otherwise you can't join.

There is no need to be disrespectful. If you have ever used the mod Chisel and Bits, you'd understand. If you were to have read my explanation prior to the picture, you would know that it is a mock up. If you're going to be disrespectful, please do so elsewhere.

Um, you had misunderstood me. I stated that I USED a mod to make the example; the texture pack creator would see the example I provide him and with further explanation would be able to recreate it. Players would not need mods for this. =D

This is just a little sample of a texture I am working on for a new mini-game. It is supposed to be a sequel to one of the greatest mini-games on this server, but I'll have to see... Anywho, this is just a re-design of the shield for the mini-game.

I mean, it's technically your fault for not being fast enough. If people approach the loot, just sneak on top of it to let the game know that you were there first.
