This is based off a discord message sent publicly in the CubeCraft Discord. He explicitly states he “Didn’t resign”, yet if it he didn’t resign there would be no other alternative aside from being fired, or temporarily dropped from the team.
He didn't resign. From what I saw from Dawson, he was fired (From how his message made it seem like).
There's only 2 Sentinel developers now (To my knowledge).
Java: @Elevated
Bedrock: @Hulk_
Not sure, @Smoothlyy, that is all up to the managers/owners of CubeCraft to decide. I have no say in the matter. I don't want to make false promises, or claims. It'd be cool, don't get me wrong, but I don't like to raise people's hopes up.
From a developer's perspective, barriers are hardly ever (If ever) the cause of lag.
They do not output much particles at all, nor are they a form of mass amount of entities that can cause lag either within the client. The only way I can see it causing lag on your computer is if it can't handle...

The cheater has disconnected from the server, thus, causing staff to be unable to monitor said reported...
@_The13thDoctor_, I know I already answered in the previous one, but I shall mention it again. Yep!
I am sure there's other great candidates in the race as well to become a Sentinel developer though. This may be a tough one, haha.
@EasterFin, I have. Though I make no promises on my arrival into this server. Just hope I get to be able to work alongside everyone here some time in the future! If not, I hope whoever gets accepted is able to make Sentinel better!
@EasterFin, indeed. Worked for a plethora of servers. Some large, others small. Worked with YouTubers such as BadBoyHalo as well on their current solution and more.
This is the problem with Anti-Cheats in general:
It's a constant battle of "Server vs. Cheater", there is never gonna be a determining victor as it'll continue on for as long as the server is alive and has players.
As an Anti-Cheat developer myself who's worked for a plethora of servers both...
