I only joined CubeCraft in 2022, so it hasn't even been two years. However, the amount of memories and friends I've made over my time here is priceless, and am very grateful for that. Not leaving anytime soon :)
From what I know, all of the scrimmers either quit the game or moved to Hive because the update killed scrims. Not sure if any still thrive in the community at the moment, but will update you if I hear of something!
This bug was pretty recent, but changing the names of things in skywars and getting goofy kills was pretty fun. It was so satisfying to name my sword to something funny and have it appear in my kill messages. It's quite the shame that the CubeCraft team patched it, had so much fun in those 3 days.
Considering everything you had to take into account, that's really impressive. Thanks for posting this, it'll be a great help due to the fact that I play lucky blocks with no regard for strategy! Please keep me updated on the glitches, might make future bug reports on those.
Thanks for clarifying that with me. I actually forgot that the builder kit existed (Totally not because I'm not a sweat) so everything makes sense now. The big question is, how many people are actually going to use this kit instead of blocks???
This is something I've also noticed during my eggwars games. Some of the enchants don't have that much of a use, and are still somewhat expensive to buy. For example, swift sneak seems fine on Java, but since the bridging methods here on Bedrock are different, it doesn't seem to fit. Feather...
Definitely like the skywars lobby the most, the new parkours, scenery and recolouring blew me away when in contrast to the old one. A well deserved change to probably the worst looking lobby on the server, looks a lot better now.
Maybe I can play some anime music for you on the piano then! :D Just tell me which songs you'd like to hear, and I will most likely speedrun it in two days!
The big problem is that by adding this kit, rushers don't even have to buy a weapon, and can rush even earlier than before. If you get comboed by a sweat first thing, then it's even worse considering that you have people chasing you with weapons. It would also kill the casual community as sweats...
Personally, I'm a big piano fanatic, so classical will always be my go to genre. However, jazz is starting to peak in my interests, due to its juicy chord formations and tonalities.
Have to agree there. The fact that people can die in netherite armour to strength in 5 seconds is quite literally game-breaking. Before, the protection 4 was enough to prevent players from dying immediately but now there's a vaccum of power that hasn't been filled. It would be nice to have a...
Personally, I don't think there will be a revert. This is due to more and more people starting to accept the new update, and a majority of the bugs being patched. Although the scrim community has officially died post-update, there doesn't seem to be a need to revert back.
What usually happens in my games is that I siderush immediately despite being horrible at the game. After killing both players, I'll go over to mid and just combo the heck out of everyone there until we win. Usually there's a few campers in my games, so this process takes more than 5 minutes...
I still remember when I switched from Hive to CubeCraft because sweats were being really annoying. My friend put me into a random eggwars game, and it was hilarious as I got carried the entire time. Still really nice to recall the olden days when my PVP skills were still really bad.
The biggest memory for me was when I managed to clutch up my first 7v1 on the old eggwars update against sweats, it's so satisfying when you beat a party that just gangs up on you like that. Unfortunately, I don't think this kind of satisfaction will ever reoccur as damage has been buffed and...
