1.9 and 1.8

So, I'm here to talk about the upgrade to 1.9. I personally don't like the 1.9 updates so much. Because of CCGN only being compatible with 1.9 I have recently quitted or, given up on CCGN. I do have Gold rank but I don't have anything to do with it right now when I don't play on the server. I think that you should do like Hypixel and be both 1.8 and 1.9 compatible. Both I and many of my friends left the Cubecraft community and moved over to Hypixel because of this. But bare in mind. This is only my own thoughts.

CCGN will not go back to 1.8. Sooner or later all big servers will have to stop using 1.8, so instead of complaining, try to learn to play with the cool-down ;)

Ye, I've realised that but I think that the cooldown is destroying the whole game. :/

Minecraft 1.9 update! Please read this whole post before before posting!

We’ve decided to NOT support both 1.8 and 1.9 client as we want to embrace the new features in 1.9 and make the most out of them! If you’re still on a 1.8 client you won’t be able to join the server from now on so make sure you update your client to join the fun :)

We’ve tested current gamemodes, and upcoming ones, with Minecraft 1.9 and we feel the new update is really cool. There’s new blocks and block mechanics (Such as single glass panes now being a glass “pole” - check it out at Dance Off in the Lobby) so our builders can play with these to make you cooler maps!

We think the new 1.9 PVP mechanics are pretty nifty, we're going to monitor how it effects balance and gameplay over the coming days so you'll notice that we may tweak one or two things as time progresses!

Cube won't downgrade to 1.8, or support 1.8 clients. They might remove the cooldown, but that is not sure yet.

I like almost everything in the 1.9 update except the shields and the cooldown. :/ Buuut they will never remove the cooldown so... If Hypixel updates to only 1.9, I will go to Roblox. lol.

It's sad that people like you will sometimes spend up to $150 on this server only to have the server completely stab you in the back. Donators who don't like the 1.9 update should get some type of refund, or at least more of a say in situations like this.
