Cubecraft Bedrock’s 5th Birthday!!
5 Years ago today Cubecraft launched on the bedrock network and this post may not be official but let's look back on some of the Biggest moments that have happened the past 5 years and the history of Cubecraft bedrock!
If you feel i have left something out or want to add anything let me know :D
(If staff could share any interesting statistics like total number of bedrock punishments/reports/unique players that would be interesting and wonderful!)
The Complete History of Cubecraft bedrock
On the 25th April Cubecraft released on bedrock with only Two gamemodes!! Those two gamemodes were Skywars and Eggwars! With survival games being the third game to be released in under a month!!
The first seasonal event on bedrock was Summer and this is what the lobby looked like!!
(Crazy to see only three gamemodes compared to now!!)
During this summer Minerware also got added to bedrock!
Taking the total gamemodes to 4
It was also around this time they released their first cosmetic pack, The Pioneer rank!! The first of many, many many packs to come!!
The first full seasonal event then came to bedrock with The Halloween event! Which saw the release of the first Limited time gamemode on bedrock Ender!!

There was also the first ever Lobby hunt! Finding the 15 pumpkins around the lobby gave you the Pumpkin swirl win effect!
At the end of this event also saw the addition of Cubecraft stats being available!

This update also brought changes to eggwars with the addition of armour bundles and armour being auto-equipped from the shop!
The end of 2018 Saw the addition of one final seasonal event of Winter!! The first ever Christmas event on cube bedrock and for the first time Snowman survival joined the network for a limited time!

2020 was the start of the Covid-19 pandemic (Crazy to think that was 3 years ago)
The start of the year began with a new valentine's event

June 3rd rolled around and there was a massive lobby updated!
Each gamemode received its own separate lobby; they also released a new Scoreboard!
On June 11th the best update (not biassed or anything) came to bedrock with the first new games in years!
Beta games was released to bedrock with the addition of two new games
Blockwars and the fan favourite Line Dash!

June was a massive month for updates! Up next came Skyblock which broke the player count record! A record number of 30,000 players joined the network!
July comes around and a new gamemode is released again! Lucky islands joins the beta game lobby with a Solo and teams gamemode!
August 20th Blockwars is fully released to the network! Leaving the beta games lobby behind with its own lobby and game rank!
September starts with a bang with the release of Survival games duos as a gamemode bringing a team aspect to the great survival games gamemode
The day after Lucky islands rank is released and on the 10th September Lucky islands is fully released leaving Line Dash as the only gamemode in beta games
Halloween event rolls around with the release of a new limited time gamemode… Carving chaos! A pumpkin carving gamemode that brings a more casual feel to the server
November rolls around and Blockwars bridges join Blockwars capture the flag in the Blockwars lobby!
5 days later the saddest update of all time happens… Line dash is removed from the network permanently alongside this update FFA And duels are added to beta games to replace line dash
(Still missing you line dash 3 years on <3)
November 26th saw the release of the new profiles! The Ui was updated by the wonderful developer team to allow players to see each other's stats!
The end of the year saw the Winter event return with a new gamemode called Colony Control!
The winter update also saw a new feature get added called Gifting! Where you can gift ranks/bundles to your friends
The end of the year also saw the addition of a new Eggwars mode called Eggwars mega which was a spin-off of the skyward gamemode skywars mega with 40 player eggwars games
(What could go wrong… right?)
The day after Eggwars mega got released 2v2 duels were added!
(Finally I can get carried in every gamemode!)
On December 23rd Cubecraft began their Bedrock Knockback testing due to community feedback on the changes needed to fix knockback in games

January 13th Bedrock kb testing version 2 gets released! With tweaks implemented from version 1 the overall reaction from the community is positive! This update also saw the implication of Platform based matchmaking (No not skill based, Platform) into the knockback gamemode for testing alongside it!
January 22nd saw the Full release of the New knockback! Way more polished and actually able to get combos now!! This update also saw the full release of Platform Matchmaking to make games more fun and easier for each user!
February 18th saw the release of a dedicated bedrock Resource pack! Updating many of the UI features like scoreboards and the Lucky island wands!
April 1st (Not an April fools update!) Saw the release of the Spring RPG a new Seasonal event style that has not been seen on cubecraft before!
(Who knows if this goes well, maybe there might be a second….)
April 22nd then saw the Full release of Battle arena! FFA and Duels finally getting its own lobby alongside the other game modes! With this came the best rank ever to exist on cubecraft bedrock (Not because of a particular prefix and win effect or anything) but it was the first rank to contain animated cosmetics!
The release of Battle Arena also came alongside the 3rd birthday event and that went… Well no community backlash or anything…
After the release of the 3rd birthday event huge changes happened to bedrock with the release of NA servers finally! Along with this the /sr command came to bedrock with the first way to report rule breakers in game which was wanted by players for a long long time
June 17th saw the addition of Parkour and Competitive Parkour to the beta games lobby after being requested by players on the forums countless times bringing a more laid back gamemode to the server that your average player can't try hard too much
Summer rolled around and the summer event rolled around with a brand new lobby and the first fully animated bundle ever was released! There was no hunt this year but that was all explained with a… walking axolotl??
August 19th saw the release of the second RPG on cubecraft with the release of Magic & Mayhem and it contained a lot of new features and some interesting looking creatures
The start of September saw Blockwars get an update with the addition of an Overpowered mode and two weeks later Parkour fully released with its own lobby and brand new difficulties!
This also saw the addition of a new cosmetic type.. Shoes! Which came inside the new Parkour rank.

Halloween rolled around and this saw the removal of Magic and Mayhem which was replaced with the return of Ender to bedrock after two years and the return of carving chaos!
November 8th saw the release of the New lobby! After the server was updated to allow new blocks to be used they updated the Lobby to fit in with this update with a fresher feel
(Very vibrant and colourful!!)
They overhauled everything including the Main area with fresher looking Npc’s and a more appealing look utilising the resource pack
November 19th saw the addition of Asia regions! Becoming the third server region on cube alongside NA and EU
Winter 2021 saw the re-release of Snowman survival Exclusively to bedrock alongside the return of colony control! The first lobby hunt in many months returned with a present hunt
A week later saw the release of an Eggwars update which updated the rank and added new features such as New kits,new emerald items and the ability to favourite items/maps!

A month later on February 25th saw the release of the UI update which changed the way menus look fully making it a part of the resource pack and adding colour and vibrance to the dull menus!
The Quality of life update added Party/team chat, a much wanted feature by players who don't want the entire server to know the weird conversations they have!
Skywars soon got an update with brand new game mechanics like weekly items and new arrow trails! The skyward rank also got an update with re-designed chest skins along with the new arrow trails
The 4th birthday soon rolled around and it brought with it a free cage and a redesign of the Eggwars teams of 4 map celebration!
Summer soon rolled around with the start of a massive season of updates! This seasonal update brought the first gamemode seasonal bundle with the Eggwars summer bundle!
On the 13th July Week one of the 5 weeks of summer was released with a new gamemode! Lucky islands Duels joined the network!! This was a gamemode much requested as people wanted to play Lucky islands against their friends
This came alongside an update to Battle Arena which updated FFA with brand new events ingame and duels got an update with new maps and kits!

6 days later saw the release of Week 2 of the 5 weeks of summer which brought out Eggwars duels, another gamemode requested by players.
The day after this was released the Massively anticipated VIP update was released! This update brought a huge overhaul to the outdated VIP rank system adding 25 new levels and a whole tier system! This update also added a whole range of new profile cosmetics such as: Username colours, Profile backgrounds/borders and a whole social menu revamp with the player profile being fixed and allowing custom skins to appear
Week’s 3 & 4 soon rolled around with the release of CTF duels being released!
The day after CTF duels was released EggWars season 1 was released which brought a whole new competitive aspect to Eggwars with seasonal leaderboards being added!
Week 5 finally rolled around and Skywars duels was released the day after, adding to the list of Game modes getting a duels mode with one mode still left to come!
August 17th saw an update to minerware which brought with it after many years a Minerware rank which included premium microgames you can turn on In Minerware! The new microgames include escaping a pig and cross the road!
August 24th saw the release of Blockwars Bridges duels and with it fully releasing the gamemode duels!
September 1st saw the release of the most interesting gamemode ever… Blockwars giga… A 50v50 Blockwars Bridges/CTF mode which surely wouldn't be laggy right..
September 1st would also be when the announcement for the big 1.19 update would come out! This would mean that there would be no new updates for the next few months while they worked on 1.19! Hopefully this doesn't take too long
Halloween then rolls around and a bit of a reduced event comes out with just seasonal maps and two game specific bundles! Skywars and Eggwars Halloween bundle!
Winter then rolls around and once again a reduced event comes out and just snowman survival was released with colony control being left out this year

And now, today, on April 25th 2023 Cubecraft bedrock turns 5 years old. Looking back it is crazy to see how far bedrock has come over the many years it's hardly recognisable from the original server! I would personally like to congratulate everyone on the staff team for all the hard work they have put into the server, past and present staff. It has been wonderful watching the server update! And who knows in 5 years time where the server will be and what game modes would be out then! Below this message are some fun stats that I have found while making this thread! If anyone has any fun and interesting stats they would like to add feel free to start a conversation with me or reply to this thread and i will happily add them!
