So, today I have been here on the forums for 6 months, and I just want to say thank you to everyone I've met here. I've made so many friends here (but I'm not tagging anyone as I will most likely forget someone else :P). But instead of writing something long and boring about this I have decided to tell you about a project that I have started in a singleplayer world (just to point this out, it is not for cubecraft or any other server). Keep in mind that this is not completed.
So, I guess I will start with the name. So far I think it will be "Evolution" because your character "evolves" when the inventory grows (more details later).
When you first start the gamemode/map you will be put on a floating island (similar to skyblock). Once there, you will see a chest under a tree (see the picture). In that chest you can find a bucket, 16 steak, 16 bones and one "Teleport item" an item that will teleport you to the shop. That item does not work yet (I haven't even tried to get it to work yet, lol). That is the dead bush on the picture, but that will probably be replaced by another item.
The end crystals you can see on the picture above is used to limit the inventory of the player. The inventory will grow as the player gets achievements. If a player places something in one of the blocked slots, they have 5 seconds to remove it, or it will be replaced with a new end crystal (see picture below). This is completed (it took about 6 hours to get it to work and 8 hours to fix some bugs :p).
Another thing I have added is block generators. There are three block generators: the ore generator, the sand/gravel/clay generator and the dirt generator. These will spawn a block about 20 seconds after the last block on the generator was broken. The ore and sand/gravel/clay generators will pick a random block to spawn. This is also completed ;)
The last thing I will tell you about now is a shop/achievement room. The building is completed, but not the achievements and the shop itself ;)
