When creating a thread, you can preview it at any point to see what it looks like. This can be very useful to see if they layout you wanted is working or not and just to see what your thread would look like when posted. I did notice one thing that doesn't show up which I'm sure you've realised from the title of this thread.
I thought it would be useful to add a preview of the poll you have on a thread if you have one. This would allow you to see what the poll would look like. It would also, in my opinion, make more sense as the poll is a part of the thread.
The preview button currently shows this;
