This is a must have! An easy way to convey our dismay after an update without typing a wall of text thats waiting to be forgotten!

This way you can easily see how many people like/dislike an update at a glance.
It would probably be easier to make a poll on those threads asking users if they like the changes.

Uhhm this is the point why we should not add a dislike button. If you dislike something peopel would also like to know why you dislike it. By just disliking they can't improve their updates so just a no to this idea

But they dont care what we think. If their snowflake staff teams says “Yes this is a great ideazzz” they implement it

Not true , this staff team listen to every idea. If you see a staff member online on the forums he will most likely be watching over a thread. They do not reply to threads but the read every thread and they think about it.

I don't like this because it would discourage the player about his idea and he wouldn't feel great at all about it when a thread has like a lot dislikes or something

We are a positie community, why should we make a dislike button? The importanst thing of Minecraft is that you make fun. Nobody becomes happy by dislikes, so no.

Having a dislike button just allows people to go smash "don't like it."

It's better to actually force people to write why they don't like it on Discord and the forums so we can actually get useful feedback on what to change or what to do instead, rather than a stupid dislike counter that gives us absolutely nothing to work with, how to improve.

Oke, but at least ask us feedback before doing a random chat update next time please.

Wow great reasoning! How could we ever have missed that? You got me totally convinced with your flawless logic!

Sometimes it's enough to just state that you disagree with a suggestion. Sure, often it's better to elaborate and maybe offer an alternative. But it can already be useful to see if people agree with my post or not. Maybe they could add some kind of disagree button for that.
