As the title says, my suggestion is to add leaderboards for the 6 remaining games close to the spawn area in the lobby . It could be like a "Area of fame" with top 5 like in the dedicated lobbies before the big update.

The problem now is that most dedicated competitive people feel like stop playing on CC. Don't underestimate the power of fame and glory! Some people want clear goals. It's often these people that buy ranks, so pissing these people off is just so stupid. Sometimes it feels like the staff tries to kill this server on purpose...

The new main lobby is gigantic so arguing that there is no room is no valid argument. A hall of fame area would make the dead city lobby come alive and players could get to see great players in the different game modes.

Wherever I am
Great idea. There may be lobby sections in the big one for each gamemode where there could be a leaderboard but this could be a good addition as well. It would be nice to add the leaderboards of the removed games for us nostalgic people, maybe a hall of fame and history of CCG.

In my opinion about adding again the Leaderboards from 1st to 5th for each modality it would be a very good idea to bring one more time, since I currently have the position 2 in [TeamSkywars] and it makes me a little sad to not be able to see the NPC of each player as it was before. The update is good, but it brings the disadvantage that the Leaderboard was moved to a somewhat hidden place where it is no longer the same as before. It would be very good if they brought one more time even if it is the Leaderboard once more. :(

Maybe if you're 1st on a certain gamemode, the NPC would wear your skin.
Or just add the top 10 players as NPC's near their favorite game.

> I'll be shown on Duels.
> Shin will be on Egg-Wars. And all that stuff.
- Obviously, you need to separate Duels FFA & Assassinations from "PvP" you have to split them.
- EW would have 2 NPCs. Solo & Team.
- SW would also have 2 NPCs. Solo. And team.

deep inside my mind...
People could do that with the old lb either so whats ur point?
That could still technically be done since the leaderboard shows heads at the very least.

As for my opinion on the suggestion, I really don't see why people feel the need to see themselves on a pedestal except to inflate their own ego. I personally like the new leaderboard system as it shows more than just 5 people.

Well, I like to see the top 5, and I am nowhere near it! People like to see it cause it creates community and people to look up to .Yes, it's great to see top 200 in the menu, but it's very hidden . So why not have both? Everyone will be happy

The whole concept of seeing placing someone on the pedestal is just to make it the all more obvious that they're someone with achievements under their belts. We see this in the Olympics, where the gold, silver and bronze medalist stand on podiums. We see this in various tournaments e.g. spelling bees, mostly sports, etc. While this may have the effect of inflating other people's egos, I would be inclined to say being arrogant isn't necessarily a bad thing. You made it to a milestone that very little people (or no one at all) has ever made it to, I think you have the right to flaunt it a bit. Not to mention, you can kind of apply the same argument to the current leader board system. While it's not as obvious as the old one was, it still does a number on inflating your ego (if you're that type of person that is). So what am I getting at? Getting the pedestal back is not a bad idea, and may be the all more encouraging to some of us here to play more (and harder, haha).

(wow now this thread has me thinking about something interesting)

- What's so wrong with having a large ego?
- I'm dedicated to the server. Why can't I be proud at that?
- I win a lot. Why can't I show it?

> I asked that the leader-board would increase from top 5 to top 10, but whatever. And I believe quite a few people supported me on that.
> If players would use racist skins, wouldn't they be punished way faster? And why would they do that if they're on a leader-board?
> Why isn't there a prize to being dedicated to Cube?
> Shouldn't people aspire to be in the top 10, rather than being in the top 200?
I mean sure. It's a shining achievement. Oh right. You don't get ANYTHING for being on a leader-board.
It's literally worthless.
The only things you do get, is the ego-inflation as you've mentioned. And a dedicated pedestal for a miniature of your head.

Actually nothing but the problem comes if people express it.
And many grow there ego if they kill a leaderboarder since they all think that a place on a lb means that they are unbeatable.

I totally agree with you.
People get so cocky when they kill someone from the leader-board.
But sometimes LB-Nerds aren't horrible. Sometimes.

When it comes to the ego-expression thing, I see it as pride. Rather than ego.
Because you have to win a lot to get to the LB.
But at the same time, anyone would get at least a LITTLE excited if they've killed a player in a much higher position.

The worst cases I've ever seen, were people like giacca02, who killed me and then used my high social position to get stuff that he wanted.
It's not something wrong, it's just an expression of pride & ego. He got excited about it, and he wanted to show everyone his excitement.
Or something like that

The same can be said when LaidToFall was accused of cheating when he fought against Tacosbefriends.
Pretty much the exact same situation.
When you defeat the leader of a certain clan. "Ooh, look at me. I am 'better' than ...!"

There's nothing wrong with that. It's just.. humane.
People get proud. People have an ego. And sometimes, just sometimes: letting an achievement shine - ain't a sin.

- IN SHORT -
Yeah you're probably right. But I still disagree with you.

I personally find it very disappointed, and am surprised that the old leader boards just left. Now it feels no longer as a victory because it also looks less fun and not in the open b.

I think people have an ego but that they ultimately want to be unbeatable because they want to be found on the server cool. I think now the update of the leaderboards and such, that fewer people have courage to make much more trouble.
