I really only have 1 thing and that was where is said your a member.

I'm thinking they need to add something so some important people stick out.
For example some rank ideas can be:

-Well Known
-Known
-Trusted

(Either saying that next to member or taking the spot of member)
This suggestion is not complete please feel free to add onto it.

What would this achieve?
If it's just there for the fun of it, people would get the idea that these ranks would get some special privileges even though they're the same as any other member. Aside from that, why would these players be "important" if every player is supposed to be equal?
I really don't like this idea.

The point is that it shows who a good community member that can be trusted and can help people if they need help and for in some instance be no staff around or something. And it looks cool. Plus why not? Whats there to lose? And no not all people are equal in that way. You would be Well Known because you are. You're a great community member.

Asides from this post.
Both of you really don't have any strong points on why not.

I’m feeling the same about what Hank said, a member is a member. Besides Sr. Mods, neither the staff team has different tags, like Jr. Helper, or Veteran Builder, and the biggest difference between a “Well known member” and a Sr. Mod, is that a Sr. Mod has a different meaning, it has different tasks as a Mod and is one rank higher up. A “well known member” doesn’t have any different abilities than a normal member. You could say like “you can give them less cooldown time between posting messages, or give them more space to post in their profile posts.

You could even go further and say things like “they should be able to lock certain threads, but even good oldies can become toxic and do stupid, but like really stupid things.

You can just tell if someone is well-know if you look at his messages/likes, activity and even appearance on the network/forums.

That makes no sense and does not back up your claim what so ever. Please explain.
What I mean is that its nice that they dont put the stone ranked players down by making it a noob rank. If you mean like for everyone to have a "Well known" rank then I still disagree :/

Not everyone and I'm not asking for any permissions granted. @Cynamooo it's just a tag thing you could add. And it could be for as I have said through the thread.
And this is an idea there can be other things added.

Adding on to what has been said, Hypixel already has this on their forums, so it'd make CubeCraft less original.

What if these good community members give a person the wrong advice & end up screwing them over?
Staff questions are best to leave to staff in most cases, as they are always aware of possible changes before the regular community itself.
Sure, someone with 2000 messages may seem trust-worthy, but a staff member needs to be trust-worthy meaning that they are the ones who the average player would rather listen to.
Plus why not? Whats there to lose? And no not all people are equal in that way.
We're all part of the same community, on the same server, in the same game. Why would we suddenly give others special tags if they don't necessarily need any special praise? It really just doesn't seem useful to me.
I guarantee you that people will get the idea that these special players are more important than them, resulting in the illusion of completely unfair treatment.

Both of you really don't have any strong points on why not.
Well, if you are going to answer a "why?" with "why not?", I could easily say the same to you. "why not?" isn't really a reason.

I do not think that using the argument that “Hypixel already has this; therefore, it’s “unoriginal” if we do it” is in the least bit fair to say. I’ve seen this idea implemented on many networks. Typically, it works. However, if Cubecraft chooses not to implement it, I don’t feel as if “unoriginality” should be the determinating factor, but rather that it just wouldn’t work for this network with a reason as to how.

You've just described the Helper rank. I don't want newcomers to feel unwelcome just because they've not been around as long, and would rather no special treatment be handed out. Also, it's usually the oldest players that have caused the most trouble on here in the past, so labeling all of them as "trusted" could have its consequences.

For the record, there is always staff online on the Discord, and they do a great job at monitoring the staff-help chat despite the masses of players spamming it. Seriously, huge props to the active staff who monitor it all the time.

I was walking down the street tonight, NO COSTUME, just me, my green sweater, and my brown dog. And someone gasps and says "Yooo it's Shaggy and Scooby Doo!" wild.
We used rainbow jelly… turns out it works on players too. 🌈
