Coding Anti cheat

Not to be mean, but the anti cheat is bad. Moderators and administrators keep saying "the anti cheat is being updated/developed everyday so you can't really blame it" but I think not.
If it was updated everyday, then why are there still hackers? Granite, you dont't see INSANE fly hackers like before that could go 100s of blocks, but you still see hackers. I still kind of play the server but I would love it if the anti cheat was the MAIN FOCUS and not "eggwars and arcade" updates. Also it feels like innocent people keep getting banned. I mean I see those insane hackers that don't get banned yet you see those people that aren't cheating that get banned. Its kind of sad... Thank you for your time reading this plugin report!

It's not going to ban every single hacker immediately, it does need time to thin the waves of them down. Also compared to this time last year the server is much better for them. There will always be hackers around and that's something that no one has control over but the server is definitely much better than it was.

I personally have seen quite a few hackers banned by the anticheat right in front of me.

Sentinel (anti cheat) doesn't ban immediately, it band in ban waves.
And I think less innocent people are getting banned, as there are no where near as many complaining they got banned for nothing.
But, if you do know about some bugs then please report them over here and maybe thanks to you an important bug gets fixed ;)

I do not agree with your post.

I have only had positive experiences with Sentinel so far. I personally see way less hackers than ever and that it has an overall improvement, as an example then I am not getting kicked for flying when I am lagging anymore.

Well if you're playing Assassination or you're a 1.8 kiddo.
Yeah of course there will be more Hackers! Assassinations is pretty much never under moderator surveillance. Only once in a while really.
And the amount of illegal modifications for 1.8 are ridiculous. Not to mention that the anti-cheat is preferably made for 1.9 combat.

Being a 1.9 player myself I rarely see someone Hacking. I mostly see campers and teamers.
And here and there people calling other people. Maybe the players whom are Hacking are so bad that I kill them. Who knows?
Besides the reports site is a great example of Sentinel doing its job. If you were to report a Hacker, 3/5 times it will get closed.
"Why?" You ask, because Sentinel already banned them before a Moderator could look at your report.

I know it doesn't ban immediately. Nothing can do that. Its just that I never see hackers get banned. Only if I report them then I see hackers get banned. Also correct me if im wrong, but before this anti cheat, I very rarely saw hackers. It was like 1 hacker every 5 games. a 1:5 ratio is way better than a 2:1 ratio

There are absolutely less hackers than before and I think Sentinel is a well-working Anti Cheat. It's impossible to ban all the hackers. But the developers are doing their best so lets just wait for the next updates. :P

Yeah the anti-cheat is not 100% done they are still working on Perfecting it

@Scottness and @Landviz got banned live when building the trump wall. I got banned in a banwave.

Admit it there's no more fly hackers but maybe there are hackers that have <scaffolding> and <killaura> and also it false ban people like me but i try my best to report every hacker/teamer in the report section you can report them there https://reports.cubecraft.net/ but u must have them recorded first and then they will get banned soon

Example: I brizzley bridge. But the problem is, the anti cheat thinks im hacking so I keep getting kicked from the game. I use the friction method and what I do is I disable my mouse sensor and I just do friction. But I keep getting kicked from games, blocks breaking under me. And I know I can just stop but to know how to bridge like that is really good against campers, but hard to do when it won't let me.

It acts in Ban Waves
Actually it is superior and is saveing staff lots of stress...
4 times out of 10 Sentinal has banned the person I reported
In my opinion Staff are the ones lagging behind :/

I agree with you, last time I was talking with someone and he got banned for autoclicker. He was just jitterclicking so yea xD
