Anticheat

Hey there, cubecrafters!

I have recently noticed that there are many hackers on the server,
on 1.8, they even fly to you, then they kill aura you to death!
Before you know, you're killed by a hacker.
So I thought, why don't I make a suggestion thread for cubecraft,
there are many good anticheats out there and they could use one!
Maybe give it a try?
Here is one I think is very good:

Sentinel exists in 1.8, for whatever the reason its doing terribly there, however in 1.9 sentinel is formiddable, you step on out of line, it will catch you

There's actually an anti cheat for cubecraft right now, called Sentinel.
At 1.9, Sentinel is fast, but 1.8....
Yes, we all know Sentinel has a lot of improving to do.

Yes, i've seen a lot of similar threads.
Asking for an update wouldn't work, I believe the developer is working on it, so please give it some time.
However if you have suggestions etc, you can DM CrazymanJR on discord.
Keep in mind he's busy and may not reply fast.

We have our own house made Anti-Cheat called Sentinel devloped by @CrazymanJR and @GingerGeek. Sentinel used to ban hackers in ban waves, not instantly. Sentinel is improving and learning new things everyday. It works better in 1.9+ than in 1.8 though.

Yes I know there is an anticheat, but this thread will be asking to update it, because it isn't that good. :/

It is being updated a lot just in small ways so players don't see the differences all at once but it went from at first a huge ban false ban house to a good working anti-cheat which is mostly banning actual hackers illegal client modification users

Sentinel > NoCheatPlus
NCP is the worst AntiCheat out there

We do not use plugins that are public, the developers are there to make own plugins and to be original.
The anti-cheat can only get better in the future. The anti-cheat is better than nothing.

NoCheatPlus is one of the worst AntiCheats in my opinion. CubeCraft has its own AnitCheat called Sentinel. You don't always see it, but Sentinel bans a lot of hackers. Also you need to keep in mind that they can improve Sentinel everyday. Bots also need to learn things from their master. :)

We have an Anti-Cheat called Sentinel, which bans in waves and improves a lot. It sometimes could take some time to see a hacker getting banned. Crazyman is still working hard on improving the Anti-Cheat. We're not going to remove Sentinel and add NoCheatPlus, as it's not developed by our developers and because Sentinel is actually doing really good. I've seen lost of players with scaffold or killaura clients being banned by Sentinel in game in 1.8.

- Locked
