As we all know, Cube has sentinel to stop hackers (although the job it does isn't the best and therefore questionable) but to some extent it works. Now as teaming is a common issue in solo games, in which teaming isn't allowed, then why don't we get a plugin to deal with teamers?

How AntiTeam works
In solo minigames, teaming is a common problem and one player who was teaming in survival games betraying his teammate after I finished recording them to try and avoid getting banned (I still reported them) gave me an idea
Instead of the traditional kicking system of AntiCheat plugins when they catch hackers, AntiTeam actually gives teamers it catches a chance before ejecting them from the server. If it detects two or more players spending more than three minutes (excluding grace periods) within 20 blocks of eachother without fighting eachother, then they are teleported to an arena outside the map.
This arena cannot be escaped and will force the teamers to fight eachother. If its a team of 2, then one must die and the one that kills goes back into the game, spawning on a random pedestal at spawn. The one that is killed becomes a spectator. If two players refuse to break up the team and it results in them being there until all but one of the players not teaming dies, then they are given 1 minute to have one die. If they're both still alive after that minute, then that player in the main game wins automatically and all teamers in the arena get banned from all solo minigames for 1 week but can still play team games.

What do you think? A team detection system to force the breakup of teams in solo games? Ofc this will only exist in solo games.

I really like and support this idea, but making this, won't that be hard? I like the idea of 1v1'ing in an arena to get the winner out, so they have to kill eachother. Also, the 25 block system is a good idea, but people can also try to go solo and at the end team up again + the 2 mins are way too short as it can also be 2 opponents fighting eachother for over 2 mins within 25 blocks..

In overall, if this will be added, it will decrease the amount of teamers actually.

Good suggestion, you've got my support! :)

Inside your mind
This is a great idea, but I could see problems arising from this
Like people abusing it to survive until their is only one person left to fight (a.k.a a get out of jail free card)
Or maybe innocent people getting teleported when they aren't ready, due to being nearby somebody when they aren't even teaming.

Those points, and possibly other issues aside, this is a great idea.

Making this would be really hard and it could easily be abused by players. For example: just wait underneath the player and follow him for two minutes and then you can 1v1 him. Not a really good idea in my eyes. Wouldn't also be a very efficient way to catch teamers, I think.. Still, I think recording and reporting teamers is the best way to get them banned. -1.

i have an idea, it would be something like this

A program to count the time when users stay together for 1 or 2 minutes they will get kicked , How to make that condition ? i think using the Coordinates that you can see in F3, i don't know if you understand me :/

Or using the Pythagoras theorem

While I find teaming annoying, I agree with the others here. I do not like the idea of adding this for the simple fact that there are many situations where players are not teaming, but are close to each other. Also I am sure teamers could find a way around this plugin too. I know you mention the warning after two minutes, but this would just mean they have two minutes to team before breaking off and just not fighting each other. There also comes the problem for some minigames like Eggwars where stealth is key and it can take more than 2 minutes to get an egg. Once that warning goes out the player will be on alert and could ruin the chance for the other person to get the egg. Likewise in survival games you may not realize someone is close to you or they could just team at a further distance so I do not see this helping too much as there are so many ways to avoid it. It is a super creative idea and would be extremely nice, but sadly I am against this being added.

Teamers are indeed still a common issue in Solo games. I think this system which you explained in your thread, isn't possible to make. Also, it's possible that a player is trying to kill another player, but that the fight takes 2 minutes and is in an area within 25 blocks. Then you're actuslly banned for nothing. I don't agree with this idea. Teamers just have to be reported on the report site and punished by a report.

But if the fight took >2 mins I'm sure no space of time between one hit landed and the next would be that long unless they were both so bad they made players who can't PvP look like Grapeapplesauce.

Or we could just give recorded teamers an actual punishment. The fact it's only a 1 day ban means teamers aren't even worth reporting, which is why they run rampant on cubecraft.

Problems
- So a fight that lasts more than 2 minutes from the use of gapples and being bad a pvp will instant kick those people.
- If you are running away from someone and they have a close lead for 2 minutes, you will be kicked, since you would be close together and the plugin will think its teaming.
- If you are hiding from someone or sneaking up on someone in say skywars (such as being in their island) or survival games and you stay longer than 2 minutes, you will be kicked for
- there are 100s of other situations that players will be around each other for more than 2 minutes that doesnt involve teaming

Overall it Wouldnt work, most of the time the teamings will be false and just kick people out for no reason at all

People who are teaming can easily avoid this by just moving 25 blocks (or what ever the number is, has to be small though since on solo skywars some islands are like 10 blocks from each other) from each other and then come back to each other, making the plugin useless.

If this is possible I would like to see it implemented.
But I would make the requirements more strict
Like 3 minutes within 20 blocks of each other
+1 for me

Not rly. They wouldn't get kicked, just put in an arena and forced to fight. Also, I'm sure no fight that lasts more than 2 minutes would see a time space of 2 minutes between one hit being landed and the next. Lets be real, nobody's so bad at PvP that a fight could have a 2 minute period consisting solely of players missing hits.
- If you are running away from someone and they have a close lead for 2 minutes, you will be kicked, since you would be close together and the plugin will think its teaming.
As stated before, they wouldn't getvkicked, just placed in an arena. Ik you pointed out an obvious major flaw so thx for that.
- If you are hiding from someone or sneaking up on someone in say skywars (such as being in their island) or survival games and you stay longer than 2 minutes, you will be kicked for
Again, they won't get kicked, just put in an arena. Another flaw you've pointed out as players could abuse it to force an unsuspecting player to fight them, possibly unprepared.
I would make the requirements more strict
Like 3 minutes within 20 blocks of each other
Good idea, then it wouldn't go into meltdown and accuse some skywars maps of being a huge 12v0.

This is to easy to abuse, as said above for survival reasons

another issue i have is this could be unfair if neither player knows each other is there or one of them is hiding

this also has the potential to break to easily forcing players to fight that could be on the same team

And as said above you can easily find a way around it, theres a back door to everything

Nice idea, I like the 25 blocks system idea =)

So what if you're just trying to get an egg in eggwars? I have successfully dug an egg out of obsidian with my hand because the other team didn't know I was there, but with this system we would get teleported to an arena instead :L
