Arcade Games - Faults and Resolutions.

Hello everyone. I am going to be writing this thread to illustrate the problems with the servers arcade games, and how you should approach to change it.

Firstly, id like to talk about a kit that has been annoying me. Enderman. On many occasions, people would jump from one far location to another with their enderpearls, making the games almost incomplete-able unless you rage-quit or he/she ragequits. Example:

Therefore, you should change the ability to teleport, taking away the enderpearls. because invisibility doesnt work anymore.

Secondly, I believe that there should be more alters to the wither kit. Though the recent nerfing, it is still pretty good to use because the ability of it is designated to the bow. I think that that should change to cancel out someone just holding their bow and running away for the whole game.

Paintball

I think that to add to the realism of paintball, you should add some type of weapon to "wield" the paintballs. This means using an item like horse-armour, or a redstone comparator. Otherwise it just reminds me of a paintball fight xD

Quakecraft

Decorate the sign area... please.. it just looks so bland in comparison to other games..

Parkour Minigame

Add more blocks, like a slime block spawning in zombies that attack you for 10 seconds. Or a gold block that gives you blindness pots to through to people.

For the enderman kit +1... Maybe they can set an amount of time between ender pearls? Like once in 10 seconds or something...

For paintball you are absolutly right! +1

I like the parkour minigame idea a lot! That gamemode is so boring in my opinion, it needs more variety.

Another suggestion for parkour minigame, perhaps blocks that blow people away if they're nearby, similar to the creeper's super craft bros ability (I call it the knockback nuke), and a knockback stick with one durability that hits people across the map.

Not possible ;) Only for swords and such. Perhaps a shovel as it does the least amount of dmg.

If an enderman wastes all of their enderpearls, they're gone until they respawn. If you give an enderman the ability to teleport, they can run away indefinitely.

As for wither, you can make that argument for any ranged class. It's incredibly simple to kill someone with a melee class, so it only makes sense for a ranged class to stay at range. My suggestion to you is to either try a ranged class for yourself or to get a better method of closing that range.

Kind of a small grievance. I don't really see any problem with the current game, but maybe if the devs have some free time, they can do something with it.

Interesting ideas. If we ever do an arcade overhaul, we'll definitely consider adding some new blocks to Parkour Minigame.
