-Hands down one of the most nostalgic maps. I’ve been on cube for awhile and I’ve seen all the updates, changes etc. I’m not saying that all these new maps and game modes aren’t dope, but Area 51 was one of a kind.
-A lot of people hated the layout, but I thought it was rather challenging. The mid was definitely hard to get in and out of. You have that small little internal panic when you have all these diamonds and not enough blocks. It’s annoying when you’re so close yet so far. It’s hard when you get stuck and have nowhere else to go, but it’s simply fantastic. You have to plan everything out before going and know the game well enough so you don’t make these mistakes. The map is simply a difficult map. Just because it’s harder, doesn’t mean it’s a bad map.
-Also, we all have to consider that when the map was removed, ended pearls weren’t necessarily a thing. The islands are huge and far apart. With e-pearls, suddenly the map gets smaller. Also, the map has a similar layout to underdasea. If there were any modifications to be made, a little midway island could possibly solve the problem.
-Am I reading to much into this? LOL yeah no definitely. But the map was great and I’d love to play it again. A good ole classic round of Area 51.
