Java Assist points in FFA

If you bring someone in FFA down to 1 hp and someone steals it, it's really annoying.
Maybe you could make it so if you deal 90% of the damage for example you get 0,90 points (you get 1 point from a kill) and if you deal more than 50% of the damage you get the kill and the other person gets an assist so its like an assist that counts as a kill.
I have no idea if decimal points is a good idea but I'll see what you guys think about it.

This is how exactly works in skywars and other games, but you don't get 0,90 points or similar. I wouldn't personally give decimal points. It's better having exact numbers.

Yes, it would be really good what you say, because many times, many people have probably stolen the kill by giving a hit to the other player and it's really annoying.

I would love something for assists, the kill steals are really annoying. Maybe if you get 90% of the health then you get like 0.9 of the point, and they would get the kill? Or maybe just an exact number, like Jiivan said.

yeah it is really annoying when you've been chasing someone around the map for a while and someone just takes it, I agree you should get at least some points

Yes its annoying but we shouldn't add decimals in the point systems.

Agreed that the idea is good but adding decimals would just be too confusing I think. You'd probably have to generally change the points system and the kills system to make it work.
