The agree and disagree system exists for a reason: to see the community's opinion on suggestions. If it's a good suggestion, it gets agrees. Otherwise, it gets disagrees.
There used to be a forwarding system where if a suggestion had 25 agrees it would be forwarded to staff. This was removed a while back, however, as it was too much strain on staff.
This suggestion is essentially the complete opposite of that. Any suggestion with at least 20 disagrees and less than 5 agrees gets closed automatically. This has many benefits, including cleaning up the forums from suggestions the community doesn't like.
Of course, there will be issues such as mass flagging, however measures can be put in place to prevent this, such as rate limiting those who disagree too often from disagreeing for a while, IP banning accounts who mass flag posts, and if those don't work, the user will be told to make a Player Safety post if the post's closure was a mistake via a system notification of its closure.
All of this can be subject to change, but this could be a really good feature to clean up Suggestions.
