Obviously plans may have changed in the past four and a half years, but when Obsidian was released they said it would be the last paid rank to be released. Considering the previous ranks already suffer from "not-worth-your-money-at-all" syndrome (except iron rank, that rank is really well-priced), I don't think they should add anything new for a long while. If the server needs funding it should get it by selling actual content, not confetti (*glares at PLUS rank on day of release*). If you are really itching to spend some extra money though, I hear the new Christmas Cubelet rewards are pretty good. Also, PLUS rank is so much better now than it was on release, so maybe you could convince your dad.
Slightly unrelated, but can we all agree that Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is a really stupid name? If Bedrock is what is found at the bottom of the world, then you're literally paying to play a glorified insult. If referring to rock beneath soil then congratulations, you're playing something that's beneath dirt. Imagine saying to your friend "Hey, you should buy Minecraft: Bedrock Edition!" Their reaction would probably be "Bedrock Edition? Is that another name for the Minecraft story game?" Bedrock being unbreakable in the game, it sounds like a flashy collector's edition (like how the Call of Duty franchise has Hardened and Veteran Editions), not just Minecraft but on home consoles.
