Bedrock: SkyWars Update

Hello there!

We've been busy working on this for a while but here's a look at all the updates we just released for SkyWars on Bedrock!

You guys really let us know that you wanted teams of 2... So here it is. Now you can team up with another player and battle 7 other teams in a fight to be victorious. What's a new game option without maps? Here's a look at our first teams of 2 maps:

Fruit

Fruit is healthy... but this map doesn't count towards your daily intake... :confused1:

Paint

Art, Bart, Cart, Dart, Eart, ???? :oops:

Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow...

Gravestones are a completely new feature that we're bringing to SkyWars. If a player dies (above the void) they'll drop a gravestone at their current location, rather than just dropping all their items on the floor. This makes managing your inventory easier when picking up all the items from the other player. If you do prefer the old way of the items dropping on to the floor, you can just break the gravestone they'll pop out.

We're releasing this feature with 6 gravestone designs. All players will have the default gravestone and the others are available in our new SkyWars Bundle... SPOILERS!

We're also releasing a new kind of cosmetic for SkyWars. Many of you know and love our egg skins in EggWars and we wanted to bring some cool looking vanity in to SkyWars. Introducing Chest Skins! Chest skins change the look of your chests to all players and add some extra colour to your starting island. In case you're wondering, yes they do animate as well! Chest skins are currently available in the SkyWars Bundle with more planned to be made available through our in-game store (as with Egg Skins and Store Skins for EggWars).

We've added a new new kit "Healer" thanks to the players over in Discord asking for it ;) . The healer kit grants you a single Golden apple, and will help you get out of any sticky situation, should you be in one.
Along with the new kit, we've also buffed all our other kits. We felt that there wasn't enough value from kits, as most of the loot could be found inside chests after the game had started.
- Chef: Increased the wood sword to a stone sword
- Builder: Increased the leather chestplate to a chainmail chestplate
- Tank: Added Iron Boots

You've already seen this mentioned above but we're introducing our second game specific bundle, SkyWars Bundle! This bundle is catered to make your SkyWars island stand out from the others. Inside you'll find 5 exclusive gravestones, 3 chest skins, 3 cages and 5 new prefixes. You'll also be rewarded an awesome 750 VIP Experience with this bundle as well (Enough to give you access to Chaos SkyWars)!

We've done a lot of changes, here's the list of things:
SkyWars
- Added Gravestones
- Added Chest skins
- Added Teams of 2 mode
- Added a villager to all islands to allow players to change their Gravestones and Chest Skins
- New SkyWars bundle
- Added Healer kit
- Added new Teams of 4 map: Lion
- Buffed all existing kits to make them more effective
- Dying above the void will now cause you respawn where you died
- Added titles to let you know you've died
- Added titles at the end of the game to announce the winner

- Added support for opening double chest menus
- Fixed water being invisible

Think about all the people who have xbox’s, playstations, iPad’s, phones. They are trying to make bedrock good because that’s where the majority of players are.

Looks amazing! The teams of 2 mode is useful for people who want good stuff but feel insecure about their skill, and the maps are wonderfully designed! Can't wait to find a friend [like I'll ever do that...] and start spamming left click at 5.17 clicks per second with my sharpness I diamond sword and Protection I diamond armor!

I honestly cant thank the cubecraft staff enough for this godlike update. Im having tons of fun with the new maps and the 2's mode! I sometimes found solos a bit easy as i am on PC but the duos mode gives me a challenge which i really enjoy!
