I think it's a waste of time, apparently it's part of blockwars to stop situations such as 1v5,6,7 bla bla bla. But it ruins it for some people, you're on the winning team and some of the other team give up playing and suddenly you've been switched to the other team.
It's not part of any other games and neither it should be part of blockwars.

I understand that it is just to make it so that the teams are balanced, but people get just as mad at being swapped teams (in fact, sometimes even more mad) as they are when they would get stuck in a 1v5.

I think they should change the system, not remove it. My suggestion would be to rebalance teams up until the first capture of the wool or the first 5 health points of the wool are lost. That way the teams can be balanced up until someone starts to actually gain points. Then it would be disabled so no one would be stuck on the losing team for no reason. The way the system is currently, it is almost encouraging people to quit the game if they are losing since it would bring one of the winning players to the losing team, giving them a loss as well. :)
