Almost a year and a month from now, I made this post:
https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/bring-back-votekick.206820/#post-994025

Disclamer: When I use the word "noob" or something like that, I mean that they are inexperienced or not as good as experienced or skilled players. Nothing I say is supposed to be offensive. Plus, I just want to say the word "noob" because it is a short word to type. I am not trying to compare anyone to me or anyone else on this thread. Anything like hate, warnings, bans, etc. was not intended on this post.

My bad experiences (the main thing)
I am just sick of playing with arrogant people and noobs. I cannot play like this. They gain the failure of the team and we eventually lose unless we get lucky. A lot of noobs I try to talk to never respond when I try giving them tips (f.e. spam clicking will decrease damage, look at the line below the crosshair and wait for it to fill up and then attack) or ask them to do something (f.e. removing this tower). Sometimes I try to get their attention, I don't consider this to be rude but I may say something like "name of player can you read?" and if they do respond I just ask them to do this or give them tips. But remember, this is only for attention and I don't keep nagging on them over it whether they respond to me or not.

Arrogant people (another thing)
Arrogant people never listen and think they are better than the other players at the game but clearly they aren't and causing our team to fail.

My good experience with noobs
However, sometimes when I get a noob to chat with me (if they speak a different language then I use something like google translate to talk to them but it is a little challenging for me), they listen to my tips and ask them to do this to make it better and they are actually following along. Then they learn to be a good player and then life is kind of better for me and them. My best experience is when someone joined the TD lobby for the first time (I assume) and asked how to play the game, I was more than happy to help and took right now and taught him how to play.

Votekick "Abusing"
Okay yes, I have heard that votekick was heavily "abused" but when votekick was around, I played the game pretty much non-stop and never seen any abuse. I have only seen votekicks against noobs and arrogant people. Even if it were abused, why not report the player(s) that are abusing it?

When I was a noob
Disclamer: I am not comparing myself to others, I am just saying what my experience with me and my sisters was like when we were noobs on the passage below. I understand that people have different experiences when they are new and they learn differently. Anything like hate, warnings, bans, etc. was not intended on this post.

I was a noob along fellow sisters (living in the same house as me), we were the quickest learners I have ever seen in Tower Defense without anyone else's help. We were seeing what each tower did and actually put them in even places to ensure we don't mess up and surprisingly after giant fighting and the wither, we won our first game we have ever played (The first game we played, we won along with our first win). Although we still did learn about stuff in future games but we knew what to do almost after that first game. I believe I started playing during the late 2015's.

What do you guys think? Let me know by replying to this post and/or vote what you think in the poll.

Tower Defense can be one of the most frustrating experience on this server, because of the people that do not know what they or doing or - even worse - the twats that purposely try to ruin the game for their teammates. I actually think it is one of the better games on this network. Minecraft servers are filled with the same game in different coats, so it's a shame that the one game that isn't on absolutely every other Minecraft server is ruined by.... the players. And from my point of view: Cubecrafts lack of care for this gamemode.

However votekick is not, and will never be the solution to this problem.

First of all you have the inexperienced players. I've thought more than enough a fair share of things. Sometimes actually trying to talk to people in a nice matter can get you a long way. If someone repeatedly has been losing, they might just want to listen what you have to say.

But what if there is votekick? Yeah, no one is gonna bother helping anyone. You don't know how to play? /votekick name.

Then you have the parties that will votekick everyone in their team that isn't part of their party.

Okay yes, I have heard that votekick was heavily "abused" but when votekick was around, I played the game pretty much non-stop and never seen any abuse. I have only seen votekicks against noobs and arrogant people. Even if it were abused, why not report the player(s) that are abusing it?

Literally doesn't even matter if you experienced it or not. It happens. It's a garbage system that gets abused in every game I have played that has a similar system. Just because you can report the people abusing it doesn't make it anymore fun if it happened to you, no? Why even have an anticheat if you can just report the hacker using the report site? ... yeah, no.

I did mention that I do help them if they reply and listen to what I say. It is honestly a shame when some of them do not listen and end up ruining the team.

It is. And it would be great to get rid of those kind of players in your team, however for every person that gets rightfully votekicked out of a team 10 others will be kicked for no other reason than "because we could do it".

That said, one or two noobs in your team don't always have to decide how the game will end. The other team could be dealing with a similar player. Or the serious players in your team are good enough to defeat it while having some inexperienced player on their team. I've won more than enough matches where I felt like I was the only one knowing how to operate a keyboard.

I really agree with what @Sprout said, which in my own reason I usually play TD with a group of friends, usually 2-4 other friends, to minimize that risk, and when my friends 1st started playing TD I taught them how to play it efficiently (ill add more later)

I would like to see the vote kick back if I'm honest the game I felt was less then a headache when we had some sort of control over it. But when people say it was abused at first I was like oh no its not. But in all honesty and if you are honest with urselfs on occasions it was.. I remember getting all the way past the wither with only minutes to go and up came the vote kick and I was gone. Because of the way the lobbies are now I don't know if others have noticed in different games but some of us at Tower defence certainly have it is less of a community now so playing with friends is a lot harder I have obs rank with a full friend list and ill be lucky if 1 or 2 players are on since the change I find me teamed up with randoms then the players I know. It was suggested to me that instead of a vote kick player we have a vote kick tower instead I was really for this idea. But even I get told to move my towers (because everyone got a different view on what they feel is a good defence) I think we should wait what fixes they do with this update and go from there.

Ok to pick up where I left of yesterday, Ok In my opinion Votekick should come back, but with some limitations, Votekick should be only allowed to be used once per side, to reduce the abuse of it, and when you vote kick you have to give a reason why that other players can either accept or reject the reason, thus cutting down the vote kick spam even more

Personally, i think votekick is needed. There are many trolls out there and many downright arrogant jerks around. I am personally experienced in tower defense and sometimes ill see what is (presumably) a 7 or 8 year old with no knowledge of the game, and no ability to learn the game. I have sympathy for these people, yet, at the same time i lose all the time due to these kinds of people. For this reason alone i believe votekick is necessary.

Basically you're saying when you're starting the game for the very first time and you're older than 8 you're immediately pro? Okeh

About the suggestion, I see where you're coming from, but this is not the solution. It will be a abused. Ever been in a game with a party and they kick everyone except themselves?
Cubecraft should put more attention to Tower Defense.
