Cannot join the Cubecraft Server

Hi,

I cannot join the Cubecraft server, it just keep saying "Can't connect to server...". Every other server works, however CubeCraft does not. I cannot see the MOTD either.

After a while, I get an error message saying:
"Failed to connect to the server:
io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeException: connection timed out
"
As far as I know, I am not banned on Cubecraft.

1. Have you tried turning it on and off again (as in restart minecraft)
2. Re-install the program/programme (however you want to spell it)
3. Click the refresh/restart button at the bottom of the server page/online mode

These don't related to the error whatsoever, however I went ahead and tried it out. No luck though

maybe it's your virus scanner. you need to turn it of and the most times it will work than

Are you sure you spelled the IP correctly?
In the server list, what ping do you have to the server?
The ping is important as that may be why the connection timed out.

Try to restart your firewall, download the launcher again after removed the old one. Have you used a hacked client before? If you should have, remove that one.

^^ That could indeed fix it. Maybe restarting your computer works as well?

I would suggest deleting the server, and then re-entering the IP adress. It worked for me.

1. Check Wrong for I.P
2. Minecraft would alert you to restart minecraft
3. I don't think it's his anti-virus since he can open minecraft and go on other servers
4. And if your wifi works for all other servers then check your ping
5. Hacked clients often can be sending to many packets that you can't join but if your not using one you should be fine

Thanks for all the replies.

1. Never used a hacked client.
2. Running my own network, nothing is being blocked MC side
3. I have 1000mbps speed, so I don't think that should be an issue
4. I am not banned from the Server
5. Every other major server works other than Cubecraft.
6. And I am 500% sure by this point, that the IP is correct.

I performed reinstall of launcher, relogged in, and restarted my computer (which for the record, shouldn't relate to this issue anyways)

To me, this just sounds like a minecraft error you get every once in a while. It usually just fixes itself after an hour or so.
I just want to check, you have played on cubecraft before and you were completely fine? Just today, you tried to log on and it didn't work.

Try to restart your whole minecraft, with your game input (second screen that opens while running minecraft). If you restart your game it would help you out, if not ask a staff member or search it on internet!

I just want to check, you have played on cubecraft before and you were completely fine? Just today, you tried to log on and it didn't work.

I thought the same thing, however this isn't a MC side error.

I can log in with a different account on my computer, and it will work. To answer your question, this isn't the first time I have played Cubecraft.

@zDutchie said they spoke to an Admin about it, and that they will take a look at the issue on Monday. Let's see what happens.

If you're certain your internet connection is fast enough for everything else, it may just be your connection between you and CubeCraft.
Try tools such as a Ping Test or a Speed Test (this may tell you how your internet is doing) and ensuring your Firewall isn't set to block incoming traffic from cubecraft.net
