I think the worst part of the current system is that you receive a red 'closed' message instead of something less bad looking. Going off the original thread, this idea would probably make it a lot less discouraging or dissatisfying. As detailed in the recent helper application update staff do look at your reports to see if they were closed because of sentinel or because you are a nub. But I believe since they have to do this now anyway and you went to the trouble of recording and reporting them to not getting rewarded for your efforts is not right. The extra evidence would make dealing with appeals more easier and people overall would get less denied reports which might even help the application team look through your report stats.

They have had 0 activity for about 2 years and they are dead. I did actually add on the part of benefits for the recruitment team. I can ask a moderator right now if this thread is violating the rules, but to be fair I doubt it.

I agree, I have many reports have been closed for "already punished" or by the sentinel, at least if they did it, we will feel some thanks to the effort we did.

Wow, forgot about that one, however mine is still different as I am looking for previously denied reports to be FULLY ACCEPTED, what he is suggesting is only half accepted which only complicates things and therefore makes things more confusing. Again, if any mod or helper want's to lock this that's a-ok with me but I'd recommend trying to get this implemented regardless asap as clearly everyone is pretty set on it being implemented.

As eli said, you haven't added anything to this, and if this has been suggested a lot of times, and not been accepted, is for one reason, and you're not giving them anything they don't see before.

But I have? I listed at least two different reasons... Also no if it where to not be accepted then it would have been locked and or had a staff member message why. Yet, many have supported it. And I really don't see an issue with this if no staff member is going to lock this thread as it appears for the time being. I'd say just let this suggestion float around and hopefully, whether it's mine, or someone else's. It will finally get accepted. :)
