In chat you can use colour and format codes. They allow you to make your text different than the usual chat colour. For example in red, italic, etc. These colour/format codes work in normal chat:
They work in /fmsg:
But they don't work in /msg:
The screenshots are all for &o (which makes your text italic) but the same applies to any other colour/format code. This is apparently not a bug, but there's no reason for it to be this way either, so I suggest to just make colour codes work in /msg like they usually do.
