Java Command: /rejoin (Eggwars)

Dear Players

When I am playing a game of eggwars, sometimes my wifi stops working or resets and then I'm being kicked from the server but then I can't play in that game anymore and that's really annoying! There really should be like a command to rejoin the game, sometimes that happens to my friends to and then we can't play together anymore in that game.

I hope this will be a thing!

It have to be standard, when you got kicked out of a game due having connection problems, or just a ragequit. You automatically rejoin. But in contrast, it's nice for your enemy's if there opponent left.

OT: I do want this, but I don't think this will be added anytime soon. It takes time to develop it, and it could be abused.

There are a lot more ways to abuse this. And it isn't a big deal to join a new game, is it?

I 100% agree! It is so annoying if your wifi stops and kicks you. On other servers /rejoin is already implemented, so it would be awesome CubeCraft also implement this. +1

There are a lot more ways to abuse this. And it isn't a big deal to join a new game, is it?

There's a very easy solution to this: Make the person who logged out respawn without gear, and if they rejoined after they egg got destroyed they just don't respawn.

Besides, I'd like this to be added in BlockWars and Tower Defense. In this two games it also would do no harm since in BlockWars you could just respawn and in TD it just isn't too big of a deal.

I say no.

You are just about to finish a game, but no someone reconnects in the last 30 seconds and you gotta run over to their island. And I have no need for players abusing the /rejoin feature to be annoying. So wouldn't like it myself. And yes, I do experience some disconnections every now and then myself as well. So it's not like I don't feel your struggle; shrug and move on.

That's good, but in my opinion, a player only can get 1 rejoin/match, i think that will solve the "abuse problems".

i totally agree with this, at least for TD, it's annoying getting kicked after a long game.

Yeah we did see some threads about that,

But we need to hear what the management thinks about that idea.
If they don't state anything and just work behind walls we'll never know.
Give us answers please...

First of all, if your wifi is crashing that often, Cube shouldn't have to change a game for it. Secondly, I don't think this is necessary. As @RickDeKlomp said, this could be easily abused. Thirdly, I honestly just doubt that Cube's servers would handle the stress of reconnecting players all the time very well.

Firstly: my wifi doesn't crash that often it's just annoying after a long game losing your connection, Secondly: nobody of management ever replied to one of these threrads so I'm not that guy that is gonna sit in my chair and do nothing! Thirdly: I think Cubecarft can handle this ;)

I'm so tired of these kind of arguments against a feature that's so necessary on this network. If you disconnect in EggWars and reconnect afterwards, you respawn (unless you don't have your egg anymore). In SkyWars you just die straight away, but you can still spectate. In Tower Defence it's not that important.

In all other games you'd either just die, spectate or it simply wouldn't be a thing

I never said I am an experienced player but I definitely know some strategies and all in all I think it's safe to say I have enough experience to judge whether a reconnect feature should be added to Tower Defence or not. Just to satisfy you, I also have just under 150 wins and I regularly play with very experienced players, who have also taught me some of their strategies
