Hi there, Camel here, These are just a few things we could add to PvP games to make them more fun and give people extra rewards and stuff for doing certain things.
Universal new things:
Universal new things:
- First Blood: at the start of each game, the person who gets the first kill gets double XP and Points for that kill.
- Final Kill: Whoever gets the last kill of the game gets double XP and Points for that kill.
- Achievement Leaderboards: (for MAIN LOBBY ONLY) there should be a leaderboard head stand thing for people with the most achievements. This should not be game specific, but inclusive of all games.
- Paybacks: On the death of a player, once he respawns (for games that have respawns i.e. eggwars) if he kills whoever killed him last, he gets a “Payback” reward for killing him, granting an extra 5xp and 5 points.
- Comebacks: If a player dies 4 or more times in a row without getting a kill in between, then gets a kill, he gets an extra 5xp and 5 points as a “Comeback” reward. (for games that have respawns) (something to help the noobs along)
- Avenging Kills: If a player kills an enemy who killed a teammate within the last 5 seconds, it is an “Avenging Kill” and the player is rewarded an extra 5xp and 5 points for the kill.
- Rescue Kills: If a player gets a kill and he has a teammate within 6 blocks who has less than 2.5 hearts left, he gets an extra 5 xp and 5 points for the kill.
- Killstreaks: A killstreak is when a single player gets 3 or more kills in a row without dying. extra points and XP should be awarded for this, (could be more game specific, should add another reward every 5 kills, starting at 5 with the 3 streak added in for a bit of a confidence boost.)
- MVPs and other end of game awards:
- Team MVP: In a team game, the person on each team to end the game with the best score (if there is an objective other than killing people, then the objective counts as 2 kills), gets +25XP and 10 Points, even if their team did not win the game.
- FFA Game Winners: instead of only recognizing a 1st place player at the end of a game with no teams, the top three should be recognized, 2nd place getting a reward 33% smaller than 1st, and 3rd should get a reward 66% smaller than the 1st.
