I asked in a few places and a lot of you expressed interested in having me host an unofficial Cube Game Jam here on the forums, so here it is! Read on for all the info you will need!
How to Participate
To participate you just have to make a game from scratch in 48 hours based on the theme. You're allowed to team up with a friend, so maybe you as a developer can team up with an artist or vice versa. Next weekend, when the jam starts you simply make a game, and then submit it through itch.io as seen below.
You MUST make an Itch.io account in order to submit your game and judge other entries.

- Any language / game is allowed so long as it fits within the theme. GameMaker is included as a language.
- Maximum of 2 people in a team
- Base code / Libraries are allowed but should not be the majority of the game. (If possible specify base code with a comment at the top of the file or by uploading the base source separately)
- Open source ONLY
Prizes
While there are no prizes at the moment, I may figure out some sort of prize if we get enough entries and participation (It's no fun having prizes if only 5 people enter!) For the most part though this is just a fun community event to let people create and play some fun (hopefully) games!
