Hello crafters!
Today, while I was making dinner, I came up with an idea: A CubeCraft Cookbook!
This will for now only be digital, under this thread, but do you have any dishes you love to prepare? Share them here, and maybe some other crafters will be able to enjoy it too!

I will kick off the thread with my own!

Disclaimer, this is not my own recipe, I found it online a few months ago, but I ABSOLUTLELY love it!

Vegan Kapsalon
Preparing time: 20 mins
Oven time: 35 mins

Ingredients:
(4 people)

700 grams of French fries
12.5 grams of chives
4 tablespoons of vegan mayonnaise
0.5 tablespoons of water
1 piece of garlic
2 tablespoons of olive oil
350 grams of vegan shawarma
100 grams of vegan grated cheese
5 tomatoes
Half a cucumber
100 grams of sliced iceberg lettuce

Preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius, put a sheet of baking paper on your baking tray.
Distribute all your French fries evenly over the whole baking tray and add salt if you want.
Bake the French fries in the oven for 25 minutes until they are gold-brown and done.
In the meantime, cut your chives and mix it with the mayonnaise and water in a bowl.
Squeeze your garlic above it and add some black pepper and possibly salt to add flavour. Then make sure everything is mixed up properly.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan and grill the shawarma until its gold-brown (Depends on what shawarma you have). Get the baking tray out of the oven and distribute the shawarma evenly over the fries. Add the cheese over the whole tray and put it back in the oven for 10 mins until the cheese has melted properly.
  3. Cut the onion in very small pieces, cut the tomatoes in pieces of 1 cm and cut the cucumber in half slices. Get the tray out of the oven and distribute the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and onion over the tray. At last, distribute the self-made garlic sauce over the tray
  4. Enjoy!

Feel free to send me a message of what you think of it if you made it!

I would love to see your recipes, so go ahead and post them under this thread!

And who knows, maybe we will make a real version of the cookbook and publish it :D

Bitterballen:
-You need some money so you can go to the supermarket and then you get the bitterballen from the vriezer.
-When you arrive at home you get the frituurpan.
-Now you smijt die verrukkelijke dingen in the frituurpan.
-After waiting some minutes you take the bitterballen out the frituurpan.
-You have to wait a little bit because you don't want to burn your bakkes.
-When they are cooled down you can chap die hele zooi op.

I am not sure how this is made, but my mom cooks it the best.
Its Iranian/Persian Ghorme Sabzi.
Its rice, meat and some other amazing stuff.
You might need to practice a few times before mastering it, but it's worth it.

Since I can't really cook anything other than to-go food in the microwave, I will share my super-secret choccy milk recipe.
You will need - a cup of milk, 2 spoons of sweet cocoa powder, a microwave

1. Fill the cup with milk.
2. Put it in the microwave for 1 min 20 sec, has to be exactly that time, this is very important.
3. Get it out of the microwave and put the cocoa powder and mix it together.
4. Sip :)

Isn't that exactly what the package tells you to make?

Hello! I am also going to share a tasty hot chocolate recipe! This hot chocolate is similar to Italian-style chocolate!
You will need:
  1. 4 oz (113g) dark or milk chocolate
  2. 1 tbsp (6g) cocoa powder
  3. 3 - 3.5 dl whole milk
  4. 2 tbsp (30g) granulated sugar
  5. 1 tbsp (9g) corn starch
  6. small pinch of salt
Start off by heating all of the chocolate with a splash of the whole milk in a saucepan.
Add the granulated sugar and cocoa powder.
Stir until the chocolate has melted.
(While waiting for it to melt)
Mix together the corn starch with a splash of the whole milk.
(When the chocolate has melted)
Add the whole milk slowly while whisking constantly.
Add the corn starch mixture slowly while whisking constantly.
Continue heating and whisking until thickened.
Enjoyyy!

Yeah, I might have overestimated the cooking skills of the community a slight bit, but it doesnt matter... I would love to try some saté or bitterballen a la supermarket!

This cookbook is going to be extremely interesting xD
